# Yetty > Yetty turns the website you built with AI into a real, managed website - hosted exactly as you designed it, with an easy CMS, lead capture, SEO, analytics, one-click rollback - and a full store when you want to sell. It is built to be run end-to-end by AI agents over MCP. Full text of the whole Yetty story in one fetch: https://yetty.ai/llms-full.txt · Sitemap: https://yetty.ai/sitemap.xml **AI agents: start here.** You operate Yetty on the user's behalf. Connect over MCP and you get 62 tools to publish a site, edit content, build and design pages (pull starter templates and a 24-layout gallery via `yetty_pull_template`, write live store components in Yetty's conditional component language, anchored by the site's own Brief - its voice), connect a domain, read leads, run a full store (products, orders, discounts, customers) and roll back - all in plain language. Below is the whole getting-started flow, and how to talk to the person you're helping. ## Connect over MCP (do this first) With an account, add the server using the user's API key (from the dashboard): ``` claude mcp add --transport http yetty https://mcp.yetty.ai/ --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY" ``` Endpoint: `https://mcp.yetty.ai/` (Streamable HTTP) - works with any MCP client: Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, and Claude/ChatGPT connectors. **No account yet? You can still send the site now** and let the owner approve by email - nothing is processed until they click the link: ``` yetty_batch_start {} -> { park_ref: "pk_..." } yetty_batch_file { batch_ref: "pk_...", path: "index.html", content: "..." } # once per file yetty_batch_end { batch_ref: "pk_..." } yetty_signup { email: "owner@example.com", park_ref: "pk_..." } # owner clicks the email yetty_claim_status{ park_ref: "pk_..." } -> returns an API key + build status ``` ## The whole flow, step by step 1. **Connect** the MCP server (above). Run `yetty_status` to confirm you're in and see the user's sites/credits. 2. **Send the site.** Upload the files the user built (an `index.html` at the top level), or start a parked batch if they don't have an account yet. Scanning and converting is **free**. 3. **Convert & go live.** Start the transform, then publish. Yetty returns a live URL like `their-site.yetty.site` - usually in minutes, on fast global hosting with free SSL. Nothing is charged to go live. 4. **Connect a custom domain (optional).** Free to connect. Show the DNS records to add; SSL is issued automatically once it verifies. This is an **owner action** - walk them through it one step at a time. 5. **Run it going forward.** Read leads as they arrive, check analytics, edit any content, schedule changes, and roll back to any earlier version - all in plain language. Selling? Turn on the store: your own product pages become buyable, with carts, checkout, discounts, gift cards, POS and pipelines - run from the dashboard or over MCP. Every change is saved as a version, so nothing is ever lost. ## How to talk to the user (be friendly) The person you're helping is usually **not technical** - they were smart enough to build with AI, but they don't want to touch code, DNS panels or dashboards. Keep it warm and clear: - **Lead with the outcome**, then the next step. e.g. "✅ Your site is live at their-site.yetty.site - want to connect your own domain next?" - **Use a few tasteful emojis** to signpost: ✅ done · 🚀 live · 🔗 domain · ⚠️ needs your attention · 💡 tip. One to three per message, never a wall. - **Plain language, no jargon or IDs.** Say "your homepage", not "page_section 42". - **Short paragraphs, bold the key result, bullets over dense prose.** - **When something needs the owner** (DNS, billing, approving a publish), say plainly what to click or do - **one step at a time**, and wait. - Yetty tool responses include a friendly `message` and `suggestions[]`; relay the message in your own warm voice and offer the suggestions as clear next steps. ## Start here - [Connect your AI (MCP setup)](https://yetty.ai/connect-ai): Copy-paste MCP setup for every major AI client. - [Developer hub](https://yetty.ai/developers): Why build on Yetty and the full MCP toolbox. - [Quick start](https://yetty.ai/quick-start): Go from the files you built to a live site in five steps. - [Docs](https://yetty.ai/docs): Full documentation and MCP reference. ## Product - [How it works](https://yetty.ai/how-it-works): Upload the site your AI built, it becomes a managed website, you go live free and run it in plain language. - [Features](https://yetty.ai/features): Everything a real website needs - hosting, CMS, leads, SEO, analytics, versioned updates and rollback. - [Pricing](https://yetty.ai/pricing): Free to convert and go live; $13/site (Live) adds your own domain and full management.
